Overview
The Revvity Vega™ Innovator Contest is an exciting opportunity to explore in vivo applications using the Vega Ultrasound System. Designed with researchers in mind, our Vega hands-free ultrasound system is the next generation of preclinical ultrasound imaging. This contest is intended to collaborate with innovative scientists and use the Vega to help with your studies.

Call for Applications!
Please submit a brief description (no more than 1 page) of a study you would like to pursue with the Vega. Please include a description how this study would be high impact to your research, and how the Vega will be used to support it. Multimodal imaging applications, which combine the Vega’s ultrasound with another imaging modality, are encouraged.
Submit study proposal to VegaInnovator@Revvity.com answering the following questions
- What is the purpose and novelty of the study?
- How will data acquired on the Vega add value to the study?
- Can the Vega portion of the study be completed in 3-6 months?
- Will other imaging modalities also be used in the study?

Judging Criteria
Each entry submission will be evaluated and scored based on the following “Criteria”:
(i) Showing the scientific need or value for the equipment to complete research project described. The scientific value may include, without limitation, the ability to obtain data more rapidly and potential to achieve new scientific standards (30%)
(ii) Clarity of the submission and application which clearly describes how the equipment may help the entrant’s study (20%)
(iii) Uniqueness of the application describing the novelty or originality of the study (30%)
(iv) Adherence to the timeline and Submission Requirements (20%)
(v) Four (4) higher points will be provided to institutions without a Vega
Submission Requirements
- Fill out contact information form on this webpage
- Submit study proposal to VegaInnovator@Revvity.com
- Interest in collaborating with Revvity for
- Oral or poster presentations at scientific conferences
- Providing user feedback on the Vega instrument
- Providing Vega images for marketing materials and application notes
- Preference for institutions currently without a Vega.
Chosen proposals will receive:
- The Vega instrument installed and calibrated at their site
- White glove service and application support for the duration of the study.
- Opportunity to speak at Revvity’s Annual In Vivo Imaging Symposium.
